Looks like we discussed the measurable outcomes falling into categories
1. Confident learner: library knowledge, develop relationship with reading, increase self esteem/awareness, FOCAL essay contest along with workshops in branch (measurable outcome maybe increased library usage, the child who feels more empowered will use what he/she knows more than the child who feel intimidated, etc.)
2. Literacy-Reading: Battle of Books, Student generated lists, reviews by students, create place for kid generated content, parent outreach to increase awareness (measurable outcomes maybe higher levels of reading, increased knowledge of genres, kinds of books)
3. Literacy-Digital: Research method instruction, database games and prizes, parent outreach to increase awareness, computer class with google docs, possibly tying back into FOCAL essay, but other computer classes as well, also kid generated content on website improves digital mastery (measurable outcomes maybe increased database usage, increased website hits)
